Missions in the NC GMC

The local church is where missions and ministry are launched and sustained.

The goal of the Missions Team for the NC GMC (PAC) is to be a resource for our local churches as you engage in missions locally, regionally, and around the world. Some of this will be seen in resourcing local churches and our GMC Circles to be doing local and regional missions. It will also include connecting local churches with partnership ministries who are doing missions that align with our values.

The NC GMC, in partnership with One Mission Society, has scheduled regional workshops around the state.

Will your church consider becoming a Catalyst Workshop HOST CHURCH?

We’re hoping that every church across the Conference will pick one of these workshops to focus on, and then bring a team of people to a 3-hour workshop ready to train and engage their whole congregation in mission that will impact their local community, their circle, and the whole world. Host Church Responsibilities:

Space - opening, setup, teardown, cleanup, lockup, and space for 40-70 people.
Hospitality - provide light refreshments
Tech - workshop utilizes a power point presentation, may need A/V help with sound system etc.
Housing - provide a place for the OMS trainer to stay up to 2 nights, night before training and evening after training (this can be in a home or hotel)
