Calling Laity of the NC Provisional Annual Conference! Do you have interest, gifts or a passion to ensure that the mission of the church is upheld throughout the GMC? Do you want to be a part of ensuring that we uphold the ideals and integrity of the Global Methodist Church? Maybe you have a calling from the Holy Spirit to be a lay delegate to the General Conference to be held in September in Costa Rica. You do not have to be a voting member of the annual conference to be nominated to be a delegate at the general conference. Please fill out this self-nomination form: 2024 Special Called Session — North Carolina Provisional Annual Conference of the Global Methodist Church (gmcncpac.org) Self nomination for lay and clergy closes March 8 at 5:00pm.

As you continue in prayer for our Convening General Conference in September, you might be interested in reading The Plan of Organization and Covenant for Our Life Together contained in this article: Critical Document Released for the GM Church’s Convening General Conference - Making Disciples of Jesus | The Global Methodist Church

Further, while there will be opportunities for serving the General Conference even if you are not a delegate, the seating capacity is very limited and will not accommodate all who might want to go, but are not delegates or those serving the conference. Please learn more before you make your plans to attend, in this article:  Making Room for Delegates and Others at the Global Methodist Church’s Convening General Conference - Making Disciples of Jesus | The Global Methodist Church

According to the article above there are 4,495 churches and 4,504 pastors who have joined the GMC worldwide and we are still growing. In NC we currently have 399 GM Churches from the mountains to the sea.

Don't forget this Sunday, March 10 is Time Change Sunday. Spring Forward One Hour and remember that even with one less hour with the Psalmist we proclaim, "This is the day the Lord has made. Let us rejoice and be glad in it" (Psalm 118:24). (Maybe put a cute graphic of time change)
