We Offer This Prayer

Heavenly Father,

We thank You for bringing the NC Provisional Annual Conference into existence. We trust that You have brought us all together for such a time as this that we may bring praises to You in every place, in every way, with everything that we have.

You are good and we seek to glorify You as ones who have been raised with Christ across this state. May we set our minds on things above where You, Your will, Your desires, Your holiness are that we may reflect Your image in us as new people in Christ. We have put off the old and will put on the new through the strength and indwelling of the Holy Spirit. In Your fullness, make us one across this state.

Father, we thank You also for the willingness of those in our state who will serve You by being delegates for General Conference. Protect them and meet their needs as they begin to make preparations. May we all accept the role as an honor to serve You first and foremost not our own desires, seeking only the reward of knowing You better. May our highest aim be to do Your will. May we do all that we do in this life that the world may know Jesus. We proclaim and live knowing that Jesus is our Savior, Reigning King and that He will return.

By the Holy Spirit, Jesus You live in us we are Your workmanship, created for good works. May Your will be done in us as individuals, the NC PAC, and the General Conference of the Global Methodist Church now and forever. In the name of Jesus, Amen.

(Scriptures referred to in the prayer for your reflection: Esther 4:14; Psalm 150; Colossians 3:1-10; John 17; Ephesians 6:7-8; Ephesians 2:10.)

Thank you to these who are willing to serve the Lord and to represent the integrity and ideals of the GMC NC PAC at our Convening General Conference in September. Please Uphold them in your prayers.
